increasing fuel pressure

Post by Seight-V8 »

hello all,

as I am in the process of changing my injectors to something newer, as the new injectors work on 3bar (43.5psi) but I have the GEMS rover v8 standard pressure regulator which is set at 2.5bar (36psi).

Does anyone know of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that fits on to the standard rover v8 fuel rail, the hotwire type, as I don't have much under bonnet space in a westfield.

I know FSE do a power boost valve that fits the standard fuel rail, but really I just want an adjustable 1:1 version of this.....

cheer

scott

What you need to look for is an adjustable type for use with a turbo.

But not a cheap one from eBay. I know a lot of people who thought they were getting a bargin, but got something that would not hold a steady pressure.

Mines from a Porsche 944, turbo i think. It's 3 bar and a direct fit on a hot wire fuel rail - are they different?
