NODIZ Pro-8

Post by motorsportelectronics »

Hi everyone :)

A while back after the release of our new NODIZ Pro Ignition controller, we were asked by a few of you guys about the possibility of an 8 cylinder version...

Well I am please to say that the prototype PCBs are back from manufacture and so far, testing has gone VERY well indeed!

Here's a couple of pics of the PCB under test...

Note the four coil drivers (only two are populated at the moment) on board so no need for EDIS modules or anything like that, and we are also working on a very trick mounting system for the unit too (think distributor/coil pack/controller all in one ;) )

Here's some vids of the added features, beyond that of fully 3D mappable ignition...

Anyway, onto the point of the post...

Who is local to us who wants to try one out for free? We have a Plymouth baracuda V8 for testing here but its not yet roadworthy so we are after a lucky guinea pig to put some road miles on one!

Let me know :)

Matt

Hi Matt,
impressed with how quickly you have the 8 cylinder version up and running!
I am just down the road from you in Seend, so more than willing to be guinea pig.

The first batch of PRO8 NODIZ units are now in, and we look forward to fitting one to Brians Cobra rep, with full video guide and install article to follow!
