Thanks

There's bound to be an easier way, but this is how I do it. :D

Find Tuner Studio Projects on your HD - it's in Documents here.
Open it, and then folder with the name you've given your project - if you haven't, it will likely be MyCar. And possibly the only folder anyway. Open that and you'll get to the MSQ files. There will normally be one called current tune and others with date and time, if they've been saved like that. Copy in the normal way. (I've not found a way of copying from this folder accessed via TunerStudio)

(You can 'read' an MSQ by opening it with a text reader like NotePad, since the data is in text.)

To do a log with TS online, simply click on data logging (top of frame) and start logging, then save when the box opens. Remember to stop it too when you're finished. It's saved in the same project folder under datalogs. Open that and click on it and MegaLogViewer will load it and remember that folder next time you use it.

There are two options for saving an MSQ, 'save' and 'save as' Save updates the current loaded MSQ file, save as creates a new one. That will be named with date and time (unless you change the name) and be saved in the same place as other MSQ files for your project. You'll be able to see all available MSQs by using 'open file'. TS - if you're using a reasonably recent version - wil also create a restore point too. Although I've never used this. Note that may only apply to the paid for version of TS.

You won't need diagnostics to tell if an injector driver has failed - the engine won't run. TS has an injector test facility - but do read the instructions before trying it.

You're using sequential injection?

You can check an injector is firing with either a noid light or a simple LED with a 1000 ohm series resistor (you need to have the LED polarity correct) It will flash on and off with the injector firing - most obvious at low revs. At higher revs it might appear to stay on. The best way would be to make up an adapter consisting of an injector plug and socket which fits between the loom and injector with the LED in that.

Another useful device is a dwell meter as used on points ignition to set the points. Connected to an injector, it will show the open versus closed ratio.

If i go on communication, The only one i can click on is Mini-Terminal, Port name: COM3 is the only one which doesn’t give me a error opening port? but still nothing. Does it matter what the output format is on this page
