Forlife or not Forlife

Post by tetlow »

Hi folks. I have just filled my V8 roadster with the Forlife cooling fliud.
Does any one have experience with this stuff?
It is quite expensive and you cannot top it up with water but it states it will last for 10 years and is an anti-freeze / corrosion-inhibitor / wetter / + changes from red to yellow if the head gasket blows!!!
Regards
Dave

Is that the Toyota coolant? Seems like most of the factories are fussy about what's used in their engines, especially those with alloy blocks. Dunno about 10 years though, IIRC, 4 years per change is closer to the recommended interval. Sounds like good stuff anyways - hope you don't need to use the colour changing feature!
