You could just fit ARP main bearing studs, it is what I fitted to my Vitesse engine 3.5, how far are you intending to tweak the engine?

I'm not. I have an alloy chevy now. I'm thinking of selling the "rare" 3.5 block and was wondering if there is any interest, hence my last post.... :)

I think I sold mine for £300-350 a good few yeras back, but that block had the later mains caps and had already been drilled/line-bored.
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!

It will probably sell ok on fleabay, as long as the listing title is good :D
