pioneer 940

Post by gelmonkey »

Hi All
Does anyone here on the forum have a Pioneer 940BT stereo in their car please.
Mrs G bought me one of these for Christmas but it appears to not have speed camera locations preloaded and was wondering if anyone on here could tell me how to go about it.
My local ICE people are about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe quite frankly.
Pioneer do have a help line which seems to be permanently engaged and doing a google search does'nt really help either.
Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance
Cheers
P

But they are 'only' located at accident black spots so knowing where they are tells you where the road is dangerous. :D

Of course that could just be a load of old bo-larks and really they are just there to generate revenue.

At least your camera's dont move, ours are mobile. We have now progressed to having camera's in the back windows of cars parked on the side of the road

Hi all
I now have this sorted after a call to Pioneer support.
As the 940 has a large database they dont automatically load camera locations but a simple download and transfer to a SD card sorts it out.

Thanks for help advice and links.

cheers
