Hello Mike,

I started with BBW needles with my 4.6, but they proved to be too lean, so they were polished to suit with my Rover set up on a rolling road.

It depends on many variables, cylinder heads, air filters and type of filter box used, exhaust manifolds and exhaust system etc.

What sort of car is the engine in?

Ron.

Hi yep I found your posts, also found one or two saying bca too. It's in a land rover, I'll give those a bash as the su's will probably not be staying in long

I have a set of carbs from a john eales setup 4.6. I bought the car with them on but went for an injection setup. The car won numerous races and chAmpionships. They all still starched to the manifold to bolt straight on c/w kn filters. Make me an offer if ure interested ;)
