hideously expensive main bearings?

right finally got round to stripping the rest of the bottom end and it would indeed appear the centre main only has a thrust bearing on the block side, the cap shell looks standard. o thanks guys will be ordering 2 sets of standard 3.9 shells. why they justify between £160-£200 just for this is beyond me the robbing gits!

I just fitted the thrusts to both block and cap despite having bought a plain bearing.The folk who ground my crank said it would be fine to do this - and it has been (clevite parts).
