Post by Ralphh85 »

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150933251018? ... 1423.l2649

will fit a 4.6 with crank driven oil pump, no dizzy drive (later serp engine).

have a kent cam which is the same as the original with no extra nose.

if its totally unknown i will just have to buy one and try it!

The large cam wheel in that set will not bolt onto a 4.6 type cam as the cam does not have a keyway facillity.
The 4.6 gear normally located with a lug and a bolt through a smaller hole in the middle.

your right, and i have just found an old type cam/chain ring and compared, totally different but i think it would be possible to machine in to the cam and fit a nose bit which could stick out, woodruff key would line up with it and the slot in the new cam.

weather its going to be worth doing i dont know.
