Rover v8 manifold/carbs comparison magazine issue

Hi I've seen quotes on a few sites about attest carried out by a magazine comparing carbs I think it had edelbrock, Holley and su. Anyone know what magazine it was or even better have a copy they could scan and email me? Cheers mike

You will find that a carb test was done quite a few years ago by Fast Car Mag.
The test was carried out on a C*pri owned by a chap called Dave Palmer and his opinion was that the best all rounder was the Webber.
The Holley came second for out and out power and the Boxer set up was fiddly to set up and a pain to balance but in the end he gave it a general thumbs up.
The mag was in the mid 90's so good luck with finding that.

Ah that's a little better now I know it was a Capri. I've read it was April 94 of fast car magazine, can get a copy of it but when I mailed them they said the mag didn't have anything about rv8 in it, want to be sure before I buy it. Cheers mike
