The leaky bucket fans out there might be interested in these

There are likely to be very few of these in this condition in the future so could be of interest to someone.

Now go and find me 4 NOS leaky buckets (48IDF marked) on a magnesuim Ford Manifold at that price and I'll be your friend for life!

I did think of you, you only need 4 don't you, if you got them for £650 held onto 4 and sold off 2 at £300 the pair then you would have trouble free SU carburation for £350. By you have bought 6 or 8 used SUs, selected the best bits, bought 4 overhaul kits and soda blasted them you won't have alot of change out of £350 and they will still be Bitsas.

Horrible diaphragmous things! ( Think I've made that word up)

I'd rather have a leaky bucket or better still, twin leaky buckets.

They certainly are and are the next best thing to FI as far as metering and fuel atomisation are concerned
