Saw the heads at Stoneleigh kit car show yesterday (so they do exist). I think I overheard them saying they may be around £1200 !!!
The heads were on a built up engine so you couldn't see much and there was a note quoting dyno figures for a 5ltr of around 330bhp - can't remember rest of spec - sorry.
Sounds a lot of money to me.

Last pair of modified rover castings I bought, I paid around £1500 for.kiwicar wrote:sounds expensive to me

Anywhere under that, for a complete built set of aftermarket heads that actually flow some air, is not expensive by any means compared to whats available.
£1k would be a steal !!!

For £1100? Have a word!! Like I said elsewhere these were never intended to be Wildcat competitors, they are a cost effective way of getting good heads for less than some shops charge for porting. They even use standard valve train components to keep costs down. You want the ultimate go buy Wildcats for £3000 plus.kokkolanpoika wrote:Why so small valves?![]()
Rover Stage 4 exchaust is bigger.. but inlet is smaller.![]()
I´m disappointment those power curves.. I expect over 350bhp..

From what i've been told the dyno graph i've posted up was a rush job just so they had some figures to show people.
The bit about it i like is the amount of torque it makes from low down, so what some may say its a 5.0 but it did that with a huffaker and 600 cfm holley, arguably too big maybe but definately not ideal for low down power yet it still has a superb bottom end and a wicked top end.
A jack of all trades which would only get better with r+d and don't forget they more than likely can be ported some more to increase their ability.
