Hi-posted this to the back of a previous thread, so apologies if that's not the done thing...
Basically, I'm looking for a picture of the (GEMS?) 4.6 crank sensor and ring set up (and Cam sensor and wheel if possible).
I'm looking to add the crank and cam sensor to a TVR 500 enigne and want to use original factory fit locations and parts where possible. I've got a TVR fly wheel so will be different to the 4.0 manual I guess, but looking to see how the OEM fitment was done, before deciding if i just fit one to the front instead.
Cheers,
Virgil.

On the opposite rear cheek to the starter hole, you can see a blanking plug. This is the location of the GEMS crank sensor.

And from the rear of the engine. Some black sealant obscures it a bit:

This is a couple of GEMS covers showing the hole for the cam sensor:

I don't have a picture of the camshaft sprocket which has the pattern in it for the sensor to pick up.

Hi Virgil,
I think you said that you need to bore a hole in the front cover for the cam sensor.
If there is no hole at the moment then you probably have an interim type cover.
If so, then this cover is 20mm fatter and the standard cam sensor when fitted to a bored out hole will not reach the cam wheel so you will need a modified sensor.
Cheers Denis
