This is me in the early days of ripping the Magnette apart before it got it's new chassis and 427sbc...

And this is me doing my 'other' hobby, getting ready for a blast across Bonneville in a car powered with a 3.0 litre N/A Mercedes V8 engined car.

I dont seem to have any pics of me and the car for some reason.

But there is a nice pic of me and my Son celebrating my first 10 second run right at the end of this video.

Does anyone know how to take a still form a video like this. Becuase it would make a nice pic to frame and stick on my wall...

I can do that on my Mac

Obviously the higher the quality of the original video the better the still you extract from it

And if need be I can downloas analogue into the mac too (Like from VHS)

Let me know and I'll see what I can sort out

Visiting my car at the restoration shop in April. I have some other interesting shop photos too. There were two vehicles from the Peking-Paris Rally being overhauled, post-race.
