Breathers to catch tank OK
Space is really limited in the Marcos engine bay so i have managed to get a catch fitted with both of the rocker breathers breathing into it? do you think this set-up will be ok? (Catch tank front of eng centre)

breathers into catch cans is basically OK.
However you will always be giving away a few BHP against an engine with an evacuated sump on a small block chevy high performance engine a few years ago in Carcraft magazine they measured a gain of15bhp. That was running a vac pump system, still just using manifold vac it should be worth 4 to 5 at least, and that will give the most as you open the throttle out of a corner after over run.
Also a system that is evacuated will keep the scruitineer happy as you will be less likley to drop oil on his racing line when on the track.
You could always run everything to catch cans and later run manifold vacuum to them if you find an easy route for the plumbing.
