hope not mate,
just the fuel tables to tweek, and set the hot start stepper steps as revs to high for a few seconds before dropping back to idle.
and need to check the lambda settings too, otherwise starts fine and idles fine so far, starts real easy when hot or cold to so far.

I had my MS2 fitted and mapped by Dale Bladen at Bailey Performance last year. It runs fantastic now, is more economic and put out 274 @ wheels. A second map has the ignition retarded for the nitrous.

I am getting s laptop to dedicate to the car soon so i can check and tweek as i like.

I like the neat job you have made of the wiring and install. Good work :)

Tony, glad to see you're getting sorted. Never used Vems but been a big fan of Megasquirt for some years now, not only is it a good ecu but it introduced me to Phil Ringwood who has become a good and valued friend over the years. :-)

Your well in front if you have the cold starting set up with the standard stepper motor  mine to little while to master and get to behave how I wanted it, always keep a copy of your tune in Tunerstudio in case you bugger something up or lose track of the figures you have altered (easily done) its lovely to just reload a tune and be back to where you started 8-) best bit of money I have spent on an engine and a great product made all the better by Tunerstudio's software & Phil R :D I have another install in spring on another RV8 car, have some things to try on my own car I have picked up over the winter too :)

I had a play with a stepper motor, but stayed with the original EAV. Different if using Extra code which can do closed loop idle.

Latest versions of TunerStudio have a restore point - but I've not investigated that. What I do is before making any major changes is save out the current tune and re-name to something I can remember. :D

I simply add 001, 002, 003 to the end of any names

Any time I start fiddling, I always save to a new file with the next number up.

So there's always a restore point.

The saved tunes are dated anyway its just nicer to string a few words to the end of the date so that they stand out from the many you end up saving while making tuning progress. :D

managed to clock 30 odd miles on the car today,
and have done a bit of data-logging too.

had run autotune for the first 10 miles so the car had a rough base to run too, but looking good so far had a brown trouser moment when i changed up into 4th giving it some and the rear wheels tried to overtake the front
