Hello from a v8 addict.

Post by chargedv8 »

Hi there everyone, been looking for a forum like this for a while and stumbled across it,as it is in the title i am addicted to v8 and glad i have found a forum to share a chat with like minded people.
My name is jay and i come from west lothian scotland.
I am 32 and work for vw/audi as a vehicle technician.
I first got a taste for v8,s when my workshop foreman took me out for a spin in his tvr griffith 500,what a noise and i was instantly hooked on the power and noise from a v8.

My first v8 purchase.
Audi a6 4.2 v8.

Had a v6 and a straight 6 motor after that which i knew was a mistake,so back to v8.

Hi Jay
Welcome to the forum.
Good place to ask all your questions and have them answered, some really clever guys on here.
I might need to talk to you regarding a VW Transporter in the very near future as am planning to buy one as a works van.
Your cars and particularly the current ride do it for me.

Again welcome

Cheers
Paul
