Re: injectors
You'd need to know what fitment of injector first.4.6mgb wrote:Sorry for all the questions but i have yet another one, building rv8 4.6,comp ratio 8.5,m112 eaton supercharger, what injectors will be required and where to obtain from, looked on mr injector site does £87.00 each(ouch x8)sound right or are there alternatives, don't want to spoil the job by being tight but it's getting bloody expensive now,
But finding suitable ones to flow for the potential power is easy. There are literally dozens of pretty cheap new options available from the US.

nigel
There are dozens of fitment types, but assuming your's uses the hotwire style inlet manifold, then it's just a basic Bosch fitment.
Either of these would do. The 42lb Bosch are very common and work well.

All imported goods will be subject to 3.5% import duty then 20% vat on the declared value of the goods including postage costs.
other than extra cost, it isnt any hassle.
There are occasions when theses charges get overlooked, but I'd say it is rarer these days

this will tell you your requirements
yes you will get import duty and vat on stuff from the states unless you can befriend someone from USFPO!

I'm using bosch 'green giant' 42lb injectors 0280155968.
Easy straight swap for the hotwire or gems engines (I think also the thor) They are the newer multi hole type injector which gives better fuel atomisation over a much greater range of fuel pressures then the pintle type. They will easly flow enough fuel for your requirements and the connectors are also compatible with the rover wiring harness.
I'm aiming for 400bhp supercharged and they will easily flow that.
Tom.
