A new toy - well part of a toy

The last couple of 5 years I have had a bit of fun rebuilding then driving my 85 Camaro, the only thing that has annoyed me is that it is a V6.

Well tomorrow I plan to purchase a 5 litre chevy v8 to slip under the hood, going through to view the engine (hear it run etc) tomorrow.

So that means another V8 in the family, the other halfs going to kill me.

Spitfire in thousands of bits mid V8 transplant, mini is fun but not really me, Dodge Spacevan has been off the road for winter and cant face going to get it started and ready for the summer, the Karman Ghia is in going in to the coachworks for some serious work.

Yet another project about to kick off, am I going mad. Forgot to mention got a business to run, that I just bought my partner out of.

Never mind another V8, lots of noise and deep rumbling here I come.

If any of you are good at electrics, thats where help I always appreciated.

The Spitfire I need to make up a new loom and the Camaro well converting the fuel injected car to a carburated car is some what scary at this minute.

Both a wee bit off but I know a I want the Camro done by summer.

i dont specialise in auto elecs, but after 10 year in the garage ive lernt a bit, and i keep a power probe in the beemer at all times anyway, theres always somone in the familly needing a wee job done

Just back from test driving the car the engine is in and its great. Only downside is he would nnor sell me the 5 speed manual box as he has sold it to some one in Essex.

Got my eye on a few other bits he has.

He is going to take the engine out next weekend and I should have it the weekend after.

Now to break the news to the other half.
