There's lots of suppliers for new stuff, best search & compare prices etc. Jim jrv8 on here does parts too and has a fien reputation.
For used parts, a wanted ad on here, and check the NSRA, Rod & Classic mart, Eurodragster and fleabay are the usual places to hunt.
Grab a copy of the Des Hammill book on tuning Rover V8s, lots of good info in there. The Hardcastle book is useful too but a bit old now.
Reason I'd say swap to 3.9 is it won't cost you anything hardly and you get more power already. Then the effects of most things you do is 'magnified' on the 3.9 vs 3.5. With 3.5 you've got to do work just to catch up with a mild 3.9. But hey, who's to break a bond twixt a bloke and his v8 lol
