If your release bearing is a round faced type then a flat finger clutch cover is the one to use.

Post by yoldy »

im going to give this a try,in theory it should work.modified lt77 release forkto take a capri clutch cable and drilled a hole in the lt77 bellhousing to mount the cable to the box.same set up as the ford type 9 box

Not sure that will work. The LT77 fork is normally pushed by the slave cylinder and a cable will pull it. You would need to use a ford type fork and pivot it on the oposite side of the bellhousing.

clutch

im using the lt77 fork what i have drilled and cut to hold the cable end.and drilled a hole in the bell housing on the opposite side of the original slave cylinders position .the ford cable has a threaded end with two lock nuts that will hold it onto the box,one on the inside and one on the outside. its basicly the same as the type 9 ford set up ,trial and error!!!lol...lol...

Deffo trial and error. You will find that the pedal will be hard to push as the lt77 fork ratio will be nothing like a normal ford cable type fork. The pedal will also move the clutch too much unless you put a limit stop on it. Also the cable force will be higher than originally designed for and may break more often.

Good luck.

You probably have a different pedal ratio on the cobra.
