What fuel pressure??

Post by UncleThunderpants »

Can anyone help, my electric fuel pumps body has cracked and so is knackered, but I have no idea which sort I need to replace it. The motor is a 3.5 standard rover with a 390 holley in a mk1 escort, any ideas which sort or what pressure it needs to run at? also where the cheapest place to get one?? thanks p.s my old pump has no name on it but it is a black cylinder shaped body that looks like an old mini pump.

fuel pump

Hi Uncle thunderpants, i think the fuel pump you need is a holley red top pump, available from the likes of burton power and rally design. you will probably need a pressure regulator plumbing in before the engine as well.

Ive been meaning to get in touch with you for a while about getting some info on fitting a rover v8 to my mk1 escort.
