Music.
I'm on a constant quest to find more music to listen to, my favourite type being 70's and 80's rock. I already listen to the obvious like Sabbath, Led Zep and the ultimate which is Pink Floyd but can any of the oldies on 'ere suggest anymore decent bands? I've just discovered Wolfmother, they're not from back in the day but they certainly have the sound!
Lets hear 'em then!

V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!

Gav,
many years ago in a galaxy far, far away called 'my youth' I was round at at mates who had a Marshall stadium amp and speakers (wannabe rock bassist).
With his parents out and being bored we fed his Dad's record deck playing my ZZ Top's 'Poor Boy' with the intro drum bit through the setup on max everything!
We had massive feedback and track skipping, the cat disappeared for 24 hours, his Mum's ornaments vibrated off the dresser, the neighbours were out in the street looking for the train or plane crash, his Dad reckoned we broke the vacuum seal on the patio door's double glazing and we were rolling round the floor convinced that our ears and gums were bleeding!
We pissed off everybody. R E S U L T!
