My Griff is having a little bit of an overhaul. What started out as a small job to paint up the outriggers on the chassis has turned into a fairly major strip down and rebuild.

Here's the start of the rebuild as I've had some trouble with getting photos off my phone and camera. Finally got the camera sorted, but there's still a load on the phone. I will get round to it eventually, but the build is more important right now.

I painted the chassis in the lounge (the photos that prove this are stuck on my phone ;) )

Here is the chassis in the garden awaiting transport to the garage.

New brake lines from Speedflow. I didn't like the nasty snaky things that were there before.
Note the rubber sleeves to stop all the metal on metal contact.

Fitting this bush is troublesome to say the least. Here's my solution - jack it in. :)

More pics to follow.

...as you painted your chassis in the lounge we need to know whether you're married, living with parents, single or cohabiting? This is to work out your Forum bravery rating :D :D :D

Cohabiting. (for at least the past 10 years, so as good as married)

And she suggested the lounge as it would be a "good controlled envirionment" for painting.

The engine is all together now and I ran it for all of 30 seconds last night - only to find a pinhole in the fuel system near the tank :(

Oh well, better luck tonight!
