Hi,
I have a 1996 MG RV8 3.9 EFI which I have recently chipped with one of RPI engineering's Optimax chips. The car seems to pull very well and drives nicely but won't idle once warm. You can start from cold and it will run fine but then once you're out on the road it simply dies when you pull up to a junction, then needs to be restarted.
Is there anything simply I'm missing or do I have a problem?
Thanks

Sounds exactly like mine
I'be lived with it for 5 years but it's a PITA
As you come up to an intersection decelerating blip the trtottle as you dip the clutch and it will idle fine
I believe it is the distributor getting too much vacuum on overrun
