hi revved 3.9 RV8 from cold by mistake

hi,

please can someone help? i started my engine the other day and my shoe accidentally got caught behind the cluch pedal when i was jump starting it and the engine revved at nearly max RPM for about 5 seconds. im scared that i may have damaged something and dont know if im being paranoid about hearing a tapping noice or something when the engine is running now... i cant see any oil leaks around the engine or smoke coming out the exhaust

does any one have any advice or know of a garage in the sussex area that can have a look/listen or help

from a few weeks ago, read it, make a nice cup of coco and sleep well tonight, it takes alot to do damage to an engine by reving it in neutral.
