For exhaust flanges. I always go excessively think to reduce the chances of warpage. And if possible, bolt them to the heads before welding.Mark wrote:Ralph made these for me

Then if they do, the flanges are plenty thick that they can be machined flat again
Flanges are 10mm thick.
I welded the stubs on from the back as there is not much room to get the header bolts in.
After a bit of time with a vice they are pretty straight now, I just need to figure out a way of clamping them down and skimming the weld off on a milling machine.
