Help! Cant find the white/black injector feed wire....
On my hotwire loom... on the old loom that was butchered it was with the AFM wiring but is not there on the new loom. which apparently is from a semi serpentine engine.... any guesses? is it a different colour or something?

The +12v feed to all the injectors is Brown/Orange.
The grounds are provided by the ECU in banks of four. Yellow/White, and Yellow/Blue.
Anything with a base white colour is usually to do with the ignition circuit.

Sorry I mean the wire that goes from the negative side of the coil to the ECU to tell the ecu the engine is running.... The one with the 6.8 ohm resistor in it that Coop mentions in his efi loom wiring sticky on the electricals page....
I looked it up on a pinout diagram i found and the pin is number 39. the wire going to number 39 on my ECU is white/blue tracer? what the crap?

Dunno. W/B is also the colour used for this on the flapper system. Is there more than one hotwire diagram? My 14CUX Hotwire ECU pinout detail is:
Pin 39: Engine speed sensor input from the coil 12v -ve terminal. Note that this connector at the coil end has a 6.8k ohm resistor so you cannot check a circuit direct to the coil -ve terminal. Instead test at either side of these connectors which are located near the coil. White + Blue

Pin 35: Input signal from mass air flow sensor - see also pin 25. Blue + light Green
Pin 25: Ground side of engine sensor circuit for fuel temp, coolant temp, throttle position (throttle potentiometer) & air flow sensors. Connects via Blue jumper connector pin 12. Red + Black

Ok sussed it. Its white/blue going to pin 39. So daves Hotwire write up needs amending here:

He says it is white/black which it is on the old loom, but appears to have changed to white/blue on this other loom. (should probably mention that to save confusion)
The other issues are.
the "white" ignition live feed is actually white/grey when it gets past the first connector plug and into the loom as shown in the diagram, so anyone not using a rangerover igntion switch will be confused for hours like i was. and the diagram shows the start inhibitor circuit as Orange/black where as Coop says its orange/brown.... only wire i could find on my loom was orange black..... (which is backed up by the pinout list and the diagram)
Still wont f***** run though lol....

Yea thats understandable.... Probably worth mentioning though isnt it so people dont get confused?
Especially as the diagram is saying showing different colours to the sticky post... its taken me days to work it out and and im still not there lol
Sorry im not having a go, the information i have got here has been invaluable to my project but im just saying that little bit might need a quick look too see if it is correct, and if there are later changes that are known about maybe mention them
