Personally I don't think much of them (colortune that is). Even if it does work you could only use it for the idle circuit anyway. Assuming SUs, you can check the idle mixture by lifting the piston slightly. About a couple of MM. This weakens the mixture a tad, and with the correct idle mixture the speed won't change.
