Hi all,
After a bit of advice. We have a Rover V8 4.6 running on 3.9 EFI setup (with 5.0 TVR ECU) and it's been working fine. Recently we decided to change the fuel pipes to braided and also changed the head gaskets. Now it doesn't run properly until you unplug air flow! With the air flow unplugged it runs like a dream and rev's very well!
We've tried swapping the following and it doesn't cure the problem... air flow, ecu, loom, back to original fuel pumps/pipes, fuel pres sensor, fuel pres regulator , relays, etc.
Any thoughts?

Not sure it will help on this one but PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a Land Rover EFI test manual to check things out.
In short and obviously, it must be something you have done such as a missing connection, broken connection, missing earth. IMHO it will be an obvious fault / mistake.
