My 3.5 has it's 25,000 mile birthday!

Post by Quagmire »

Just sitting at work and was looking at my fuel consumption when I realised that my 3.5 must have done 25 thousand miles already!

I didnt start using the app to log my fuel mileage until a few months after I started driving the '8.

Those are running on LPG 99% of the time.

In that time the engine has never let me down. The closest it came to doing so was when I had problems with a pattern rotor arm giving me a misfire.

Megajolt sorted that.

Have just recieved the new bits and bobs from Burlen to allow me to clean and rebuild a set of injectors as per Ramons site and then its EFI next!

Will post when I have something interesting to say on that one.

Thanks to everyone for providing me with valuable reading on every aspect of building and running a v8, and thanks again to Pete (sidecar) for the block!

Cheers!
