Wow. Ali rocker LH is £32, RH is £10. The steel ones are 6quid each. Shafts are £10 ish.

I've pulled apart by steel ones and they are in much better condition, you can see where the rockers have been on the shaft but you can't feel anything, the rockers themselves have no scoring in the bearing surface. I think I am going to rebuild a pair of new shafts with the steel rockers!

Will,

If the steel rockers are a fairly tight fit on the shafts you have, use them.

Re the marks on the shafts, it is easy to get confused when assembling them but best to remember that the oil holes in the shafts should point down towards the cam area.
