Exhaust manifold bolts

could someone please confirm that the exhaust manifold bolts on the RV8 are 7/16 UNC

Hi Simeon,

They're 3/8" UNC. I just checked to be sure.

Bolts are never useless, it just takes a while sometimes before the use for them becomes apparent.

I've got a few of them !

I usually ponder over the length of a bolt ... 1" or 1 1/4" ???? So I end up buying both and wait to see it in place till I make my mind up. Hence I've got loads of the beggars.

Sorry Simeon not got any of those.
If you ever need stainless I always use Stig Fasteners (http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/) - excellent service and reasonable p&p.
I've seen your manifolds over on WSCC - very nice.
Just one thought - will you be able to get an allen key in there to do them up? Even hex head bolts are a fiddle on a Westfield V8 exhaust.

Yep
Bought myself a nice T handle ball end key which fits fine. The only downside of doing the bolts up at an angle is that they can really only be used once
