sd1 gearbox selector

hey guys i just wanted to know does any 1 know how to adjust the gear selector on the sd1 box as mine need adjust as my 1st and 3 are very close i know there are to bolts that holds a spring on but dont know if any 1 has any more idea on them

I'ts in the Haynes manual which you can buy second hand of Ebay for thrupence ha'penny
