Just a thought ,but could you not fit some Supertrapps to the very end of the pipes?
These can be tuned to suit requirements.

if theres not much room below, how much room is there alongside the pipes?

Heres a VERY crude MS paint representation, can you have the exhaust guys make a side chamber, like a cherry bomb or resonator, but only to one side rather than all the way around the pipe?

All this would need is a length of same dia tubing cut down the long axis, four flat platesfor the tops and bottoms, and four end plates with concave and convex curves. make two boxes and drill holes to perforate one side of the exhaust, and weld the boxes stuffed with steel wool on, one on each of the angled bits where cherry bombs or resonators were suggested.

Would that even work?

Failing that, are there any flat rectangular mufflers like your twin in - twin out one you have there, but single in single out, which would fit in that space?
