Hi All,
This may have been asked if so i apologise.
I am looking to make my exhaust either adjustable or switchable in noise/tone.
I want the noise and rumble normally but i know there will be times when a straight through system wont cut it so want to be able to "tone it down" volume wise if need be.
Anyone know of a clip on silencer that can go on the tail pipe as i think this would be the easiest option. If not any suggestions?

Hi mate, have a look at this http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.php , it allows you to switch between a silenced or straight through system. I've never actually used one, but apparently they are popular in the states.richb77 wrote:Hi All,

That system seemed to be peculiar to the 1.8VVC K Series engine, it opened up an extra tailpipe under loadSuperV8 wrote:Most new performance cars have an exhaust with by-pass valve. You should be able to modify one i'd have thought?
Even the MG ZR160 had one.
Uses a vacum connection so the valve opens/re-directs when you boot it.
