Quad manifolds

Post by Pitschi »

Has some one ever used TVR quad manifolds for Dellortos DRLA?

Problem is that you can't get the bolts in because of the angle of the manifold in the middle and the very little space left. I can only use bolts that have 10 mm left underneath.
Maybe best to use studs?

Manifold is to find here:

Studs here:

Are studs or bolt size 3/8 UNC?

Sorry for the bad english.

Cheers
Pitschi

Hi
you get the same problem on the Boxer manifold, I used studs into the head then put the manifold onto the heads using the studs to keep everything in place, and put the nuts on the studes allowing the heads to settle in place as I did them up. A difficult job in the confines of the engine bay, but really the only way.
Best regards
