Exhaust changeover valve?

Post by topcatcustom »

Dont know the technical term, but where would one find a pair of valves to swap between open side pipes and full system? Have seen them on a mustang before, flick a switch for loud and back again when you get pulled over

Spot on thanks Elliot. They are about the most un-technical things in the world! I was expecting nice smooth bends with a shaped gate in between to flow nicely like railway points, they look like the exhaust brake on my lorry! (which would probably a cheaper way too as its about a 4" system!)

I dont think I'l be paying $500 for something I can make myself!
