Hello, I'm new here. I did a search for help on this but found nothing so I'm sorry if this is dealt with elsewhere but....
My Capri has a 3.5 Rover V8 with a 600cfm Holley carb on it and I'd like to get it tuned. Can anyone recommend a good Rolling road near Heathrow airport?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Tim.
Recommend a good Tune-up garage / Rolling Road??

Tim,
The Holley 600 is really too big for a Rover 3.5 and as you are only just round the corner from Real Steel I would seek their advice.
if you put the car on a rolling road you could spend quite a bit of money and still not get it to run well.
An Edelbrock 500 or possibly a holly 390 might be a better choice, what spec is the engine, ie cam and heads?
Kevin.

Thanks for the input JJ and Kevin. I've got the car booked in to Power Engineering in Uxbridge but I'll give Real Steel a ring tomorrow to get their opinion.
The car was an e-bay purchase so I only have the previous owner's word that the engine has a lightened flywheel and race cam. I know the Holley is un-necessarily big and will have to be replaced at some point (when I can afford it...).

You could also try Torque of the Devil in Uxbridge.
A lot of the OldSkoolFord people talk highly of them.
Certainly when I was talking to them about setting up my Capri Mk1 RV8 with Holley 390cfm they were very helpful.

(BTW: I never got there yet as it lunched its crank
