My Cars
Thought I'd chip in with my cars.
My everyday car is my 1994 3.9 Late Classic Range Rover (softdash) hence the name V8 of course
sorry it's a small pic
Playthings, i.e. my hobby/project cars
We then move on to V8 car my Rover SD1 Twin Plenum
I bought her @3 years ago, and she was kept in a carcoon for 10years prior to me buying her, nothing like that V8 sound
I also have a passion for small cars non V8's
I've just bought (2 weeks ago) a 1986 Vauxhall Nova Sport
It is also an absolute hoot like the Vitesse but in a different way
And I am currently restoring my 1985 Vauxhall Nova 1.3SR
It will look like this:
But currently a painted rolling shell
haven't got a complete pic of the car
Been a thorough job, been off the road @ 10 years but not for much longer
I also have a Rover P6 3500 V8 in the background
Hope you Like

A friend of mine has just recently joined the site and found your pictures. I owned two Nova Sports back in the 80's and wondered if yours was one I might have previously owned (I am from Sedgefield). The reg numbers if I remember correctly were C136 FTM originally a factory registered car (Luton) and C368 XEC. The latter car I had tuned with a Rallycross head and cam ( I am trying to remember whose Rallycross car it was off). With Irmsher big end bolts it revved happily to 8,000 rpm and produced 96 BHP at the wheels on Tony Bardy's rolling road. It was a fantastic car I only sold it because my older brother, who also owned a Nova Sport bought new at Sherwoods Darlington C???VEF crashed his and very nearly killed himself! I have a load of old photographs if you are interested.

Justy thought I'd update things as I haven't been on for a while
Range Rover Classic still going Strong, was a clear winner in the snow last year, embarrasing more modern machinery with their stupid wide wheels
Rover SD1 still a favourite, hasn't been used as much as I'd like
Nova Sport going well, just got some garish wheels for ther drag strip/track day
In road trim
Nova SR was finished @ 3 years ago, and looking good
Also bought a 2nd Nova Sport to restore, progress is slow at the moment
No I'm not called Phil
