Ive got a 3.5 p5b block with an adaptor plate and modified flywheel on to a type 1 beetle irs gearbox would this bolt on to any rover v8 block as I know of a supercharged 4.2 RR lump that is available :?:

Provided that it is the Rover and not the Jaguar engine.

Even if it's the Rover 4.2 with a supercharger I wouldn't have thought the VW box would last long with the torque of the blown rover.

Plenty of 10 sec VWs running early cases., dont know about the internals.
