DRV8O16940 ENGINE NUMBER IDENTIFICATION

sorry to be a pain i was wondering if you could id a range rover / v8 /?/?/ block /engine number it starts drv8o16940 it is a short NOSE crank that had ???4.0 crank crossbolted
any help would be great

Thats not a Rover engine number. Anybody know who DRV8 is?

Thats not JRV8 by any chance is it?

Maybe Jim stamps his own built engines with his own numbers.

thanks anyway its definatly a D and the only other thing i notice is the stamp is not your normal landrover rubish its got champfered edges to it so it looks very special

Its a V8 Devs engine number.
