3.9 efi flat spot

Post by paul c »

I have a 3.9 injected Disco I want to swap the engine into my 110, but it has a flat spot off idle. It is getting low on fuel but unless the pump is weak that shouldnt be a problem. I havent had it running for any length of time but it does seem to get a bit better as it gets warmer. Any usual diagnosis before I get too serious with it?
Thanks

Seems it may just have been fuel pressure, put 20l into the tank today and it seemed to be running better

does the disc have a fuel tank suitable for EFI? Carb tanks need a swirl pot adding for exactly that reason, fuel starvation at low levels.
