rover sd1 + msd 6al ignition

Hi..

Need help. I have got sd1 82 vanden plas.. + i have got msd 6al ignition box.
My proplem is that my tachometer dosent work.. It will work when i rev my engine approx 3000rpm, then it will die, and then it will go live again...

So i bought msd tachometer adapter msd 8920, but it dosent work at all..

So how i can solve my proplem?
Haltech fuel injecktion work ok if i take signal from msd 6al tac output.. but if i take signal for tachometer adapter my laptop/haltech revs are 14500rpm when i try to start engine..

I dont want to buy 5" monster tachometer, i want to use original tacho....

there are two tach adapters, my guess is you bought the wrong one.

I use magnetic pickup (green and violet wires) to trigger my MSD Ignition..
So i need 8920 module?
MSD 6al white wire is covered to tape..
And original HEI module is out of place..
