Headers- annoyance and problem solving required please!!!

Well after some progress this weekend, got the engine in place and I basically have about 100mm from the exhaust flanges to the chassis, my tubular headers are about 150mm, meaning they won't go.

Does anyone know how much the TVR foreward facing ones stick out from the heads, or how bad flowing the 3.9 Range Rover cast manifolds are? My choices are now limited and unfortunately so is my budget

Hi tc,

The TVR manifold is 130mm, I don't know about the Range Rover but the SD1 is 110mm & are supposed to be pretty good for a cast manifold.

Cheers Ged, I will dig out the cast ones tomorrow and offer them up in the evening, not very happy about it but I suppose that's one of those upgrade jobs that can be done once it's up n running!
