spark plugs
What is it with spark plugs on RV8s, If ever wet the plugs I have no option but to fit new ones, Ive got mega ign coils, and still I can never get them to run, I have taken them out, in the cooker for half an hour, and still it wont run with hot plugs, put in new ones and off it goes, I allways thought it was me until I got a call tonight from a mate who had re-wired a HotRod for a customer, he could not get it started, no matter what he did, I told him to fit fresh plugs, Dubting me he agreed, ten minuites later he was on the phone to tell me the car fired first turn.

Ian,
I'd love to know the answer to your question, from experience on other engines taking the plugs out and drying them in the oven aleays used to work so haven't a clue why the Rover won't start with dried off plugs.
The drying solution even used to work on RX7 turbo's when people had tried to start the car with a bit of throttle and with Wankel engines this will flood the engine very badly.

I've never had this problem on mine since I fitted the Mallory hyfire cd setup.
I use B8ecs plugs at the moment. And i've got some C55r's to fit for later this year when I up the nitrous boost. On the original dissy setup she could be a bit twitchy if the plugs were damp.
