Got an answer today from the seller.

This is a 1983 FORD SIERRA 3 DOOR V8 NITROUS .It's in showroom condition, no scratches, no dents, accident-free, full Ford service history,HPI clear.
It's a RHD vehicle, UK supplied car (NOT AN IMPORT).

The amount you will have to pay in order to own this vehicle is £3450 including delivery at your home address and full insurance during shipping.

The car is located in Italy,where I live and where the car will be shipped from, to your requested address.

I never realised Ford did a V8 Sierra with NOS in this country. Perhaps he could fax a copy of his full service history?

I would pay for an HPI check on the numberplate but I'm too afraid to be disappointed with my own gullibility!

If you run it through http://www.rac.co.uk/web/vehiclechecks/ it comes up as a 5 door 1983 Sierra, not a 3-door....

I think most of us would be aware of "free delivery to your home address", for those who aren't it translates into "i'll be back next week when the cheque has cleared with my spare set of keys".

Thats more like it, and 8500 is not an unfair price for such a nice car either. Gotta LOL @ "may remove as car is advertised elsewhere" it sure is!!!!!
