Can anyone help with a little info on the LS1 / T56 6 speed clutch.
It's very easy to overwhelm the clutch if you are a bit to enthusiastic with the loud pedal.
I have been told that the Z06 set-up is the same and therefore should fit. Assuming that it is stronger, it makes sense to go this route.
Does anyone have any experience or know who I should talk to?
Regards
Neil

First off, what do you use the car for ? Is it standard ?
My only real reccomendations for a clutch, are Textralia. Im using their original OZ700, its a 6 paddle clutch, sprung centre.
Now that may sound horrid, but it drives pretty much like standard, and the pedal is incredibly light. At least in my opnion anyway.
And it has yet to show any signs of weakness for me.

Others might suggest a standard Z06 clutch ( standard fitment on all 01+ cars anyway ) or indeed an LS7 clutch.
Again, depends on your useage. Some think the LS7 is great, others say it doesnt hold as much power as it should.
There are others, Spec, Ram, RPS etc etc.
Some have good reports on them, others not so good. Buy a Textralia and you wont regret it.
Where are you located, and who currently works at your car ? ( Im in Northern Ireland, so cant help directly, but may be able to offer some Holden based reccomendations in terms of having it fitted )
