Range Rover SALPF1549YA429604

I'm trying to find out if I have the original engine in my 09/2000 4.0 Range Rover. I live in Los Angeles. I posted on the previous engine post but no one responded. the engine currently installed is 94D01994A, can anyone help, thank you. 8-)

You might have luck with the dealer who originally sold the vehicle, or you could check with the government body in your state responsible for registrations etc. If you provide your Range Rover's chassis number and registration, they should be able to tell you the engine number associated with such.

An official Land Rover dealer should be able to tell you engine, gearbox, transfer box and axle numbers if you give them the chassis number - had to do this for my defender when the DVLA discovered two vehicles registered with the same chassis number
