I have a series land rover with a 3.9 transplanted in and generally runs fine but it occasionally has small tantrums like will cut out and be a pain to start and its hard to get 8 cylinders 100% of the time so im thinking about converting to a mapable ECU and building my own loom. This means I could run a coil pack and as I do alot of off roading the dizzy has a fit at the slightest look at water and hopefully have a more reliable engine running. I dont really want it for a performance point of view just a good start stop 100% v8. I dont want to spend fortunes on a kit with hundreds of features just the basics so can anyone recommend names of kits and point me in the right direction? Thanks alot!
